Alexis Siemons is a freelance writer and creative business consultant living in Philadelphia. Her passion for writing and creative strategy led her to launch her consulting business, syllable studio.
Prior to freelancing, Alexis was a copywriter at SFGT, a Philadelphia advertising agency, where her projects spanned from traditional advertising, promotional campaigns, and digital tools to creative branding strategy. She holds a B.A. from Lafayette College in Communication in Culture (self-designed interdisciplinary major) and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude.
Her love of the written word is often expressed in her blog that explores language and etymology. As a tea enthusiast, she can often be found with a few fingers on the keyboard while the other hand holds the dainty handle of one her many teacups. Beyond her tea blog, Alexis has also created a line of teaware adorned with her handwritten, original haiku. Jazz is the soundtrack to her life and antique stores are her home away from home.
